Product Description

Print Size: 16" x 20" ~ Limited Edition 225 Prints signed by: Walter Schuck and the Artist. Comes with a COA.
1st Lt. Walter Schuck, who made his name with JG5 Eismeer in the Far Northern fighter actions, joined his comrades Theo Weissenberger and Heinrich Ehrler in JG7 toward the end of the war. The lean, deadly Schuck had 198 kills against the Red Air Force at this time. In the Me262 he added a further 8 victories against the Western allies-four of them four-engine American bombers. The aggressive Schuck was another who had difficulty confirming many victories in the jet because of the speed of the machine and the problem of scattered wingmen after high-speed sweeps through the bomber formations. Schuck is believed to have numerous additional jet kills-some German sources estimating his tally as high as thirty unconfirmed victories. He ended the war with 206 confirmed kills and Oak leaves to his Knight's Cross.

Very nice print, loved the quality and price. My little nephew loved it and now wants to build a ME-109 model.

  3. Humble He Is Not 5 Star Review

The artist somehow captures the "attitude" of the pilot which is that of a pilot who knows he is very good at what he does. The planes themselves are amazing. The prop on the ME 109 appears to be spinning without obvious intent on the part of the artist. Having seen other renditions I know the 262 is hard to draw. Apparently not for this artist.
